Carlos Francisco

An original product of the UK’s 1987 house music explosion, Carlos Francisco began his journey as an “old school raver” before evolving into a globally active DJ, producer, and label owner. Since the early ’90s, he has maintained a consistent presence behind the decks, holding residencies and guest spots at some of the world’s most respected venues, including long-standing residencies at London institutions such as Ministry of Sound and Turnmills, where he refined a sound rooted in underground house culture. In 2006, he launched SP Recordings, now a recognised platform within the global house scene, delivering multiple Top 10 charting releases and supporting both established and emerging talent. As a producer, Carlos has built a catalogue of over 400 releases across vinyl and digital formats. His music has appeared on respected imprints including Buddha Bar, Soundmen On Wax, Nitegrooves / King Street, Moblack Records, Were Here, Vida Records, Blacksoul, Kolour and Celestial Recordings, achieving chart success across Afro House, Deep House, Nu Disco and jackin’ styles. His official cover of Can You Feel It reached number one on Traxsource, contributing to his position among the Top 40 Afro House producers globally. After 27 years in London, Carlos is now based in Fortaleza, Brazil, where he continues to push his labels forward while developing a distinct Deep and Afro-Latin-influenced identity within the international house music scene.
