Mark Valsecchi

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Mark Valsecchi has made his mark on the electronic music scene. Since his debut EP, his tracks have been featured on prominent labels like Alpaka Muzik, Digital Structures, Alula Tunes, Jannowitz, and Soupherb Records. His work often finds a place in the Beatport top 100, reflecting his steady stream of quality releases. He’s collaborated with international talents such as Maksim Dark, Monococ, Gaga, Aaron Suiss, and Dobé, and he's currently finalizing new material with a fresh lineup of exciting artists. Mark's sound journey spans 25 years, beginning with Drum and Bass, Deep & Tech House on turntables, and evolving into live performance with a diverse range of tech. This progression led to the creation of Mixroom Studios, a mixing and mastering agency dedicated to dance music. His signature style features deep, phat basslines, groove-driven rhythms, and layers of sound that blend elements of Dark Groove, Minimal Techno, Progressive, and PsyTech. Each production invites listeners on a sonic voyage through a universe of rich textures and pitch modulations.
