Hadiya George

Atlanta singer-songwriter Hadiya George has become one of the city’s most promising vocal talents and a rising star in her own right. After featuring on the records of dance A-listers Honey Dijon and Horse Meat Disco, her striking, self-assured and flawless vocal delivery has turned the heads of tastemakers as she prepares to venture into the world as a solo artist. An instinctive musician, Hadiya became involved in the arts from the age of six, participating in choirs, orchestras, dance, and playing in bands up until college when she started writing and making songs using Ableton and Pro Tools. Her self-released debut ‘Hot Flavor’, produced in collaboration with musical collective 3lo, caught the attention of Defected Records founder Simon Dunmore and London-based indie champion Melvo Baptiste, who quickly signed the record to his brand new imprint The Remedy Project in 2020. A landmark year for Hadiya, 2020 also saw her feature on the BBC Radio 1 playlisted ‘Not About You’, house music luminary Honey Dijon’s most commercially successful release to date, and the critically acclaimed album Love & Dancing from Horse Meat Disco. ‘Hot Flavor’s' full release on March 12th 2021 alongside remixes with Nick Godmode and Kaidi Tatham, as well as a number of exciting collaborations in the future is a sign of big things to come from the promising Hadiya George.
