Akhil Chandra

Akhil Chandra is an Indian playback singer and indie musician known for his soulful voice and versatile singing style. He has been inspired by his mother, Smt Chandrika Dinni, a trained musician, and began his musical journey under the guidance of several esteemed mentors. He got trained in Carnatic music under Smt. Kalyani, Sri. Narender, and Sri. Satya Siva Kumar, light music under Sri. Ramachary Komanduri, and film music under Smt. Sunanda Ayyangalam. Additionally, he was mentored by Mrs. Jennifer D’Souza and Mrs Kalpana Raghavender for a short period of time. He has worked with and lent his voice to many eminent music composers, including Sri Thaman S, Sri Anirudh Ravichander, Sri Mickey J Meyer and more. A Super Singer Telugu semi-finalist, Akhil has captivated audiences with his emotive performances and strong musical expression. His first independent Telugu song was sung by the renowned Mrs. Shweta Mohan alongside him, marking a significant milestone in his indie music journey. Beyond playback singing, he continues to create original music that reflects his unique artistry, blending melody and deep emotions to craft immersive musical experiences.
