Biography & Metadata

John Serrano is a Spanish independent multi-instrumentalist and composer born in 1993. After releasing his first works in 2021, he signed with Monochrome Motif Records in 2024, an international independent label based in the UK, which led him to work with Sean Magee (The Beatles, Rush; Grammy winner) at Abbey Road and to front Andrew Hartshorn Project as a singer and guitarist alongside musicians such as Gary Alesbrook (Kasabian, Noel Gallagher). Known for his “Alive” trilogy, which uses acoustic instrumentation to fuse jazz, soul, and progressive rock, he is also the vocalist for alternative rock band The Castillion, alongside drummer Rob Steadman (Stornoway, Kritters), James Slattery and Josh Coker (Phallucy). He is currently composing a rock opera titled “The Green Light,” which offers a new take on "The Great Gatsby" in collaboration with more than 15 musicians from around the world. The first single, “Garden Of Sin,” featuring Mexican rising star Zurdeik, is available on all platforms.
