During a conversation with friends I complained that I was shocked that more punk bands weren't making political songs with all that is going on, how it was the opposite of the early years of punk when everyone was up in arms over Reagan's policies. They countered that part of the Spirit of Punk was DIY and that I had sung in bands before so go out and do it. Went home, wrote some lyrics and thankfully I have friends in a few bands and one has a well equipped home studio so we recorded a couple songs. So after a 20 year break from making music I have a project going (not going to call it a band since it is me and a rotating group of musicians). contact us at TAKEYSER@GMAIL.COM
