NOREH

Born and raised in a rough neighborhood in Zulia, Venezuela, singer, songwriter, and producer Noreh (Javier Treviño) overcame a traumatic childhood and found redemption in music. After attracting an online following after uploading covers of popular songs, Noreh began writing his own material and in 2017 released his first single. By the time his debut album, Asocial , appeared in 2020, he was fairly well known in Venezuela. International recognition, however, would elude him until he started working with Puerto Rican reggaeton star Jay Wheeler. Noreh was featured in "Lugar Seguro," included on Wheeler's 2022 Emociones; Wheeler returned the favor one year later on "Multiverso," from Noreh's sophomore album Mucho TXT. Both songs' streaming counts dwarfed anything else Noreh had done up to that point, and they greatly bolstered his profile in the Latin pop and urbano scenes. Contrary to most artists from those fields, Noreh does not necessarily abstain from party-oriented material, but his true forte lies in sentimental ballads; he even branches out into bolero and bossa nova updated with contemporary topics and language.
