Making music that moves. From an early age, Loie drew on her creative upbringing to shape music with raw, emotional clarity. Binding learnings from soul, jazz & R&B to create a tender, honest, and organic sound, with a focus on live sonics - textures that ground the listener and spark wonder. A BRIT School alumni and multi-instrumentalist, Loie is inspired by the nuances of life. She samples nature, conversations, and unrehearsed studio moments to capture fleeting feelings. “I feel it’s my job to take the experiences in my life, even the tragic and heartbreaking, and find the beauty in them,” she says. At thirteen, she discovered jazz and improvisation, performing with a house band at ‘The Paradise’ in West London, a long way from her South London home. Since then, she has worked independently, quietly building her presence across the city, selling out shows, and collaborating with some of the UK’s most talented writers and Grammy-winning producers. Her successful debut EP, What We Become (2023), was a period of self-renewal — love-affirming, raw, and reflective following her first heartbreak. With a new project on the horizon, Loie’s music continues to explore tenderness, honesty, and the organic, lived moments that inspire her.
