Vito Lupo

I create landscapes and sonoric worlds between time and space: dystopian music, melodic electronica, ambient, dark, and touches of post-rock. I use odd time signatures extensively, constantly searching for melody. My songs explore personal and universal anguish, the contrasts between bright hope and dark pessimism. I use synthesizers, keyboards, vocals, percussion, and often invented instruments to give voice and words to predominantly instrumental music. My sound is full-bodied and immersive. I see it as a coherent narrative universe: "Dystopian Music Hope."
