Yojiro Noda

Yojiro Noda is a frontman, guitarist and pianist from a Japanese rock band RADWIMPS who also writes almost all of the songs by the band. His music does not stay in one genre, and with philosophical and passionate lyrics covering everything from romance to his view of life and death, he has strong following especially among youth. The band is known for their music contribution for hit anime films “Your Name.,” “Weathering With You” and most recently, Golden Globes nominated “Suzume” and all of these soundtracks have won Best Music Award at Japan Academy Film Prize. In addition to writing music for other artists, he is involved in broad array of activities, including acting in movies and dramas.
