Youssef Meksi is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, composer, and producer whose work oscillates between sonic experimentation and the fusion of electronic and acoustic textures. He is the mind behind Boutelis, an introspective album blending organic and electronic elements. Premiered at Journées Musicales de Carthage in 2023, the project marks a defining moment in his artistic journey, ahead of its full release in 2025. With Behind the Ego, Youssef explores the therapeutic power of sound, offering immersive and sensory performances. His talent for narrative composition also shines through in his soundtrack work for Le Petit Prince (2023) and the dance piece The Beginning of the End (2021). Also a recognized actor, he appeared in the acclaimed Tunisian TV series Ouled El Ghoul (2021) and played a lead role in Le Toussaint Rouge, a docu-fiction aired on France 2 in 2024. His experience on screen enriches his musical creations, making each composition a deeply emotional and cinematic experience.
