The Awesome Crew

The Awesome Crew is a four-man group of musical artists from Clinton, South Carolina who specialize in hip-hop with a unique sound emerging from rhythm and blues mixed with classic rap and trap musical styles. Our music covers highs, lows, and the full range of human emotions. The group members are: Daddy D, Smooth D, Nasty Nard (aka Busy B) and Classy D (aka Paradigm). Daddy D is the lead rapper and co-founder of the group with his partner Smooth D. Smooth D is a natural mezzo soprano but has a wide vocal range. He also flips the script and spits hardcore rhymes. Nasty Nard (Busy B) is the x-factor of the group. He initially served as the human beat box and rhymes occasionally. His falsetto voice shines as it adapts to any musical arrangement. Finally, Classy D is a rapper/producer. He and Daddy D are known as the Twins of Spin from their early days as radio and club deejays. They produce, arrange and compose the songs. The group was originally called the Nasty so Classy Awesome Crew. Daddy D and Smooth D are the founders of the group. While Nasty Nard and Classy D added the “nasty so classy”, the group’s name was eventually shortened to The Awesome Crew. We hope you enjoy the music!
