Yelé

Yelé is a South London–based singer and songwriter creating Afrobeats and Dancehall music rooted in emotional honesty, softness, and intentional living. Raised in an artistic household and shaped by her cultural ties to Sierra Leone and Jamaica, Yelé’s music documents emotional seasons rather than moments, blending pulsing Afrobeats, soulful R&B, and fiery Dancehall energy. Her songwriting centres self-preservation, feminine confidence, and reflection, offering listeners space to feel seen without pressure or performance. On stage, Yelé balances calm presence with magnetic connection, performing at platforms including Notting Hill Carnival and the Southbank Centre. Her work prioritises intimacy over spectacle, creating music that feels lived-in, grounded, and emotionally resonant. Yelé’s world is one of gentle becoming, where softness is strength and growth is honoured in real time.
