The Bored Vikings

The Bored Vikings make loud, emotional rock music, with a hint of country and a touch of pop polish. Some tracks mix southern rock with a more stripped back Red Dirt type vibe - to create a unique and distinctive sound - others harness celestial slide guitar with the thundering drums of Jet Summers to create a unique Country Metal sound. The Bored Vikings is the creation of guitarist and songwriter Tim Noble. 'Bored Viking on the Loose' was the first album to be released by The Bored Vikings. The album looks at a range of important debates and issues at the heart of the Culture Wars, where people seem to be taking increasingly entrenched views, often fueled by 'Fake News' and misinformation on social media. 'Talk to me (put down the phone)' is plea to us all to put down our mobile phones and just talk to one another once in a while. Their latest album 'Karaoke Nights' continues to explore a range of themes, from 'Think I'm dating a Catfisher' where this high octane track explores the online phenomenon of catfishers and their victims. Check out the Karaoke Nights track featuring Jacqueline Towers on lead vocals - pure earth shattering modern country rock at its very best. Also take a listen to their latest single - The Legend of George Christie.
