JQ Musiq

While most are familiar with his alter-ego “Reek Haviq”, JQ Musiq brings a little bit more to the table as an artist. JQ Musiq (or JQ for short) is truly the best of both worlds when it comes to his kind of artistry. He has the keen ability to put together clever and hard hitting bars as his alter-ego “Reek Haviq”, while at the same time having the smooth sexy vocals needed to get his female audience feeling a “certain type of way”. He is a Houston TX native and as such has been influenced by many Houston legends such as Chamillionaire, UGK, Z-Ro and many others. His style of rap influence and lyricism has been compared to that of Eminem, Big Sean, Hopsin, Joyner Lucas, Pop Smoke and many others. He is an very experienced song writer and a true student to the game of today’s music. You can take solace in the fact that listening to JQ Musiq will provide you with a vibe and experience that you will not be able to find anywhere else; it’s just that unique!
