Biography & Metadata

Casha Mour is an electronic music producer and artist based in London, blending ambient textures, lo-fi aesthetics, and experimental electronica into a sound that feels both intimate and otherworldly. Since beginning to create music in 2019, Casha Mour has carved out a distinctive sonic space across releases including debut album Form, ambient project Drift Tapes, and 2025’s AA00. The new EP Modern Relics expands on these ambient and experimental foundations, turning toward the guitar as a primary compositional tool. Many of the tracks began as simple guitar phrases, loops, and harmonic sketches before being reshaped through layers of analogue texture, and woozy sound design. Rather than approaching the guitar through traditional songwriting conventions, the EP recontextualises the instrument within a world of drifting ambience and experimental production techniques. Modern Relics is also a meditation on a singular moment in human history: the tension between preserving the past and accelerating toward the future. The passant guardant creature on the cover, gradually consumed by sunlight, serves as a metaphor for the quiet erasure of what came before - a relic fading into obscurity as we continue to grow, evolve, and outgrow our past. Beneath the music is a sense of melancholy for the things left behind: old technologies, physical experiences, and ways of being that become increasingly distant as we move forward. Modern Relics arrives October 7th
