Dr. J

With a deep-rooted love for soul music and dance since he was a child, Dr. J uses that passion to create music that shares his heart, soul and love for Jesus. With radio support from the likes of Onda Sonora and DJ Bobafatt, Dr.J's music has touched a host of people on the hunt for rich soul music. Having shared bills with the likes of Fun Lovin' Criminals, SHY FX, Mr. Scruff and Pendulum, he's no stranger to the curation of eclectic yet unified DJ sets. Be it basslines or polyrhythms, vocal harmonies or woven syncopation, like his record selections - J's productions are about capturing the heart of the dancer, the mind of the music-lover and the soul of anyone with questions as they journey through life. This is Cinematic Soul Music. If you enjoy the work of Quantic, Bonobo, Jamiroquai, Nu:Tone, High Contrast, The Bamboos and their contemporaries, you might like this...
