Yopi

Yopi, Singer-Songwriter & guitar player from Germany started his musical path with the folkreggae band consenso where they fused spiritual folksongs and even mantras to a unique worldmusic and neo Hippie Sound. The band sang songs in German, English and French of which you find many on Yopi ´s first album "Consenso solo". They split in 2012 and Yopi continued his path towards devotional music with the Mantra Trio JayJayJay together with Philipp Stegmüller and Joachim Böttcher. Music that you can hear on the album "Bhajans" from 2012. Followed by the live album "Chanting" as duo Jay & Jay. Since 2016 Yopi mainly plays and records with his best friend Lotta Corradini on Violin as Yopi & Lotta. Together with musician friends they record or play on festivals and sacred song circles. Their albums Namasté Pachamama and Corazon del Mundo are dedicated to building bridges between the spiritual traditions of Europe, South America and India. It is their aim to deeply touch people with their music and to reconnect them with their higher Self through the experience of singing together and just being in awareness.
