Dridha (born Barbie Rajput) is a singer, songwriter, actress, poet, storyteller, and writer from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Since 2016, she has acted in television, feature films, ad campaigns, and is also trained in the Odissi dance form. She writes and sings in Hindi, Punjabi, and English: fusing literary depth and emotional clarity into music that feels both rooted and current. In 2017, she began releasing independent music toward storytelling that is intimate, culturally resonant, and spiritually alive. In 2022, she released an indie series project as a creator writer and director called "1960s Bombay". Her devotional work began in 2019 through raw, personal compositions shared on social media. Drawing inspiration from indian culture, carrying a modern, emotionally honest sound, perspective. She is also the founder of Handful of Daisies, a children’s storytelling platform and publication house that creates books, audio podcasts, and animated shorts. In 2026, standing as a one-woman creative force, devoted to building art and newly found genre of BHAKTI INDIE POP MUSIC, that is soulful, grounded, and entirely her own.
