Jessmin

Jessica Mougin, professionally known as Jessmin, is a songwriter and pop artist combining honest songwriting with modern pop production. Her music moves between energetic, band-driven songs and intimate, stripped-back tracks, with a strong focus on melody and storytelling. Born in Audincourt (France) and raised in Alphen aan den Rijn (The Netherlands), Jessmin started performing from a young age. At the Wisseloord Academy, she developed her songwriting skills and began shaping her own sound. Working mainly with guitar and laptop, she writes songs that are personal, direct, and rooted in real experiences. Her songs often explore relationships, self-reflection, and emotional vulnerability, while keeping a clear pop structure and memorable hooks. In 2026, Jessmin released Ur So Good, which was featured on editorial playlists including New Music Friday, Fresh Pop, and EQUAL Benelux. Her single Feathers takes a more intimate approach, focusing on vulnerability and emotional detail. Named Tip Song Of The Week by Dutch broadcaster NPO Radio 2, ‘Feathers’ reached a wider audience and showed another side of her songwriting. Jessmin is currently working on her debut EP 'Hyperfixated', expected in October 2026, bringing together the energetic and more personal sides of her music.
