Biography & Metadata
Koldo Munné is a singer, saxophonist, and composer, born in Barcelona in 2005 and raised in a deeply musical environment. Son of musicians, he began studying saxophone at the age of six and soon developed a keen interest in singing, piano, and composition—disciplines that have become fundamental to his artistic expression. At just seven years old, he joined the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, led by Joan Chamorro, an experience that profoundly shaped his musical and stage development. In 2024, he released his first album, "Joan Chamorro presenta Koldo Munné", a collection of jazz standards that also features his first original compositions, and in 2025 he released his first solo album, “1520”. Koldo Munné studied classical saxophone at the Institut-Escola Artístic Oriol Martorell, and he is currently pursuing a degree in jazz and modern saxophone at the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona. With a strong artistic voice and solid musical training, Koldo Munné stands out as one of the most promising young talents in Catalan jazz.
