Biography & Metadata

Our lives play out like movies. Each hour could be a different scene as our actions and reactions propel the story along.Roses & Revolutions score life’s ups, downs, and everything in between with blissful melodies, delicate soundscapes, and eloquent songcraft. The Rochester, NY duo—Alyssa Cocoand & Matt Merritt—continue to captivate with big screen-worthy hooks and immersive indie-pop production. Since emerging in 2017, Roses & Revolutions have consistently mesmerized and enchanted audiences. Their debut single “The Pines” bubbled up as a fan favorite with over tens of millions of streams and high-profile syncs on NETFLIX, ABC, NBC, and beyond. Sharing music at a prolific pace, they unveiled the Under the Spell EP, Covers EP, and Midnight Monsters EP over two years. The latter included the popular collaboration “Coffee feat. Lostboycrow.” Along the way, SPIN raved, “the Rochester, New York-based duo make truly beautiful music,” and FLAUNT Magazine urged, “prepare to fall in love.” Throughout their career, the music of Roses & Revolutions has unfolded like a short film noir, which not only sets a palpable mood but also cycles through a wave of emotions. The duo perfected this vision in their latest recordings [Nettwerk].
