Raahein Gharana’s ‘Rhythmic Roots’ is championing the legacy of Indian regional instruments- over 100 sounds Our Mission: We shine a spotlight on the rich tapestry of Indian regional instruments, spanning all 28 states & 8 union territories, 350 musicians. Our mission is to preserve, celebrate & multiply the heritage wealth of our nation’s instruments, so they are never lost to neglect, disinterest, or to the march of technology Our mission doesn’t stop at preservation—it’s about inspiration. We actively encourage the next generation, in India and worldwide, to pick up a ravanhatha or shehnai instead of only a guitar or trumpet, giving our native instruments a vibrant life beyond the museum shelf.
