Mississippi native DevMaccc discovered his passion for music early, guided by his mother, a gospel artist, and inspired by records gifted to him by his father and uncles. Struggling with depression during his mother’s battle with breast cancer, DevMaccc turned to music as an outlet. His talent quickly became evident as he performed in school and community talent shows, building a buzz around his name from a young age. The reoccurrence of his mother's cancer deepened his connection to his craft, driving him to write more profoundly about personal experiences and emotions. Since his mother’s passing in 2021, DevMaccc has been on a journey to find peace while grappling with grief. His music reflects this journey, offering a raw, authentic glimpse into his soul and resonating deeply with listeners.
