Miguel Veloso (b. December 6 2002) is a singer-songwriter from Toronto, Canada. Veloso is known as a vocalist for the project "EPIC: The Musical", playing the role of Telemachus after being casted by the project's creator, Jorge Rivera-Herrans. Veloso also releases original music under the alias MICO, starting in 2019. He broke out commercially with his 2022 single "cut my hair", which became a top-30 radio hit in Canada. In 2025, he signed with Columbia Records following a string of independent extended plays, such as Internet hometown hero (+DLC). He has generated over 300 million streams on Spotify across his catalog. Veloso released his debut studio album, When the lights turn on, in 2026, which charted on the US Billboard Top Album Sales and Vinyl Albums charts.
