Musician, producer, bass player and arranger. At the end of 2019 he released, together with the incredible Cuban drummer Hilario Bell, an electronic jazz fusion album "HD Harmony" to complete his third album. In 2019 Diego Paredes was nominated for the Pepsi Music Awards (Seventh Edition) for Jazz Tune of the Year with his composition ¨Loose¨ together with Eric Chacón. In 2017, Diego Paredes joins drummer extraordinare Adolfo Herrera in an innovative duo project called DiElfo which launched it's album entitled "DiElfo" As a producer and arranger , Diego Paredes has been involved in different Projects such as: Latin American Idol, Victor Muñoz/Guaco, Vielka, Juan Miguel, Victor Drija, Daniela Bascopé, Mariaca Semprún, Nelson Arrieta, Rafael "El Pollo" Brito Lubert Pulval, etc. He has also recorded and performed with artists such as Diego Paredes Project, Changuito, Jerry Rivera, Guillermo Carrasco, Vielka y su Tumbao, Chino y Nacho, Nelson Arrieta, Julio Rodríguez/Guaco, Víctor Muñoz, Juan Miguel, Cabas, among others. ​In 2006 Diego Paredes produces Latin American Idol, season 1. "Latin American Idol" premiered in July 2006 on Sony Entertainment Television and aired in 24 countries throughout the Caribbean and the Americas, except Brazil being the first show ever to be done for a pan-regional market.
