Massilia Hi-Fi

Massilia Hi-Fi (MHF) was born in 2008 to produce and broadcast music with Reggae/Dub/Bass influences. From 2010 to 2015, the collective and their association Backdoor, participate in the reopening of the Balthazar, a mythical venue in downtown Marseille, renamed the Molotov. Thanks to the Musical Riot association, they are invited to play in the prestigious Rototom and Garance Reggae Festival. Throughout their journey, they meet and work with artists such as: Chinese Man, Iration Steppas, Channel One, OBF, Charlie P, Baja Frequencia, Panda Dub, Skarra Mucci, Zenzile... so many experiences that made evolved the way they do musical production. Armed with a 20 kW soundsystem, that they built themselves, MHF ignites dances that can go up to 2000 people. Many places remember them : Télérama Dub Festival,Toulouse Dub Club #26, Dub Echo #24 in Lyon, several Marseille DubStation and Dub Station Festival, etc... After 2 EPs (« Part One »/2016 ; « Uprising »/2019) and many singles particularly with the singer Baltimores, Massilia Hi-Fi wants to spread their music all over the world. Having become a key figure of the sound system scene in the south of France, the group wants to continue to, dub events, make studio creation and perform on stage.
