Biography & Metadata

Before Astrus ever stepped on a stage, was a 13-year-old kid uploading weekly songs to SoundCloud, recorded on a USB microphone on his mom’s computer. Coming up during the height of the SoundCloud era, he watched a generation of artists build careers outside the traditional system and learned early that consistency, community, and authenticity could turn raw ideas into real momentum. That foundation translated visually as well, his one-minute rap videos on Instagram went viral, amassing 21+ million views and helping forge a loyal, cult-level fanbase. Astrus* transformed that early momentum into a fully independent career that has surpassed millions of streams. His viral track “She Wonders Why” became a breakout moment of the SoundCloud-born era, charting on Spotify, earning radio play in Texas, and cementing his ability to convert online discovery into lasting listenership. A proven live act, Astrus* has completed five nationwide U.S. tours, an Australia/New Zealand tour, and headline shows and festival appearances. He has performed alongside Trippie Redd, 2 Chainz, Rae Sremmurd, and Blackbear, and placed music on the independent hit feature film, Hierarchy.  From sold-out rooms and festival stages to billboards in Times Square and Hollywood. Today, Astrus*’s world is intentionally intimate and cinematic. Through moments shared with fans, late-night questions, live performances, and visual fragments, he’s expanding his creative language beyond music.
