Dj Jahmar

DJ Jahmar is Arizona's Reggae Ambassador — officially recognized by the Governor of Arizona and the Pima County Board of Supervisors. For over 25 years, the Tucson selector has single-handedly built the Southwest's reggae movement: hosting The Reggae Connection radio show, running Twelve Tribes Entertainment, and producing records alongside dancehall royalty — Cutty Ranks, Wasp, and Edley Shine. From his debut album Zona Riddim to the cross-generational anthem "BADMON MONEY" and the 200K+ streamed "TOP SHOTTAZ," Jahmar bridges Kingston and the desert with pure sound system culture. Off the decks, his Deejays Against Hunger initiative feeds the homeless across Jamaica and Tucson. Reggae is the mission. Arizona is the base. The world is the dancefloor.
