Hidetoshi Koizumi

Also known as Hybrid Leisureland (Born: 07 Nov 1974 in Saitama, Japan) is an Ambient music composer/ Sound artist based in Japan and France. Son of a professional flautist, he started leaning the classical piano at the age of 4. During high school, he formed a rock band and drifted into the borderless world of techno, inspired by acts such as 808, YMO and Craftwork. Then he started producing his own music using everyday sounds like human voices or car engines as his palette. c soundscapes that organically blend with various social occasions. His music has been described as “incredibly light and fragile, deep and on the edge, an ambient electronica fused with environmental soundscapes and contrasted atmospheres.”
