Harry Gregson-Williams

Harry Gregson-Williams is one of Hollywood's most sought-after and prolific composers, with a long list of film and TV credits reflecting his range. He's received the BMI Icon Award and the Society of Composers & Lyricists' Ambassador Award. His recent projects include Ridley Scott's The Dog Stars (out August 28, 2026, their eighth collaboration) and Ben Affleck's Animals, starring Affleck and Kerry Washington (out October 9, their fourth collaboration). Gregson-Williams has scored many of Ridley Scott's films, including Gladiator II, The Martian, Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Duel, and House of Gucci, plus themes for Prometheus and Exodus: Gods and Kings. His prior work with Affleck includes Live by Night, The Town, and Gone Baby Gone. With his brother Rupert Gregson-Williams, he scored all three seasons of HBO's The Gilded Age; a fourth season premieres Fall 2026. He composed all four Shrek films, earning a BAFTA nomination for the Oscar-winning original, and received Golden Globe and Grammy nominations for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He's worked repeatedly with several directors: Joel Schumacher (Twelve, The Number 23, Veronica Guerin, Phone Booth); Tony Scott (Unstoppable, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, Déjà Vu, Domino, Man on Fire, Spy Game, Enemy of the State); Andrew Adamson (Shrek series, the first two Narnia films, Mr. Pip); and Antoine Fuqua (The Replacement Killers, The Equalizer, The Equalizer 2, Infinite).
