Biography & Metadata

Daisy Dance is an acclaimed singer/songwriter, recording artist, and dance vocalist Daisy first gained recognition after winning MTV’s Hugo Urban Rules. A national competition for original artists only. Amy Winehouse took part as a judge on season 2. In a significant career shift, Daisy participated in the BBC One Eurovision show "Your Country Needs You" as part of a girl band. This opportunity led her to work with renowned producers Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren, recording the original vocals for the UK entry "My Time." In 2009, Daisy signed with Universal Music as a member of the British girl band Girls Can't Catch. She toured extensively with Girls Aloud and the Jonas Brothers, performing at iconic venues such as The O2 and Wembley Arena. The band’s hit single "Keep Your Head Up" was featured on the soundtrack of the film "St Trinian’s: Legend of Fritton’s Gold." In 2018 and 2019, Daisy showcased her expertise as a music judge on BBC One's "All Together Now," alongside Spice Girl Geri Horner and comedian Rob Beckett. In 2022 and 2023, Daisy toured with Ministry of Sound Disco, stepping in for Janice Robinson ("Dreamer") during the Ministry of Sound Classical tour. Daisy Dance’s impressive vocal range, unique timbre, and passionate performance style have established her as a distinctive and formidable talent in the recording industry.
