WHO KILLED BAMBI

“The violins play soft and ominous pizzicato, toying with tone and tempo as they twist out dissonances with their bows, while cellos and double bass roar darkly and dramatically. They are – as Wilson excitedly announces several times during the show – »marvellous« and highly professional” - Danish newspaper “Information” about WHO KILLED BAMBI + Jenny Wilson at SPOT 2019. Driven by a musical curiosity, and an urge to push musical bounds through experiments, the string ensemble WKB, has captivated audiences since their 2009 debut. Through their many collaborations, the sextet of classically trained musicians have augmented music from within a variety of genres, adding to it their elegance, integrity and playfulness. They have arranged music for, as well as performed and recorded with, well established artists, both Danish and international, such as Father John Misty, Oh Land, Rod Stewart, Steffen Brandt and many others.
