BAUN is a Danish Jazz & Soul artist. The man behind is the pianist and singer Søren Baun. He grew up in Copenhagen in a musical family with a piano and The Beatles, Miles Davis, Gino Vannelli and EW&F spinning on the record player. Today he is reaching out to those who hunger for warm hand-played soulful music in the digital age. BAUN’s genre-bending sound spans jazz, soul, funk, pop and Brazilian music. Combining catchy songwriting, personal interpretations, life-affirming lyricism and body-moving beats BAUN strives to make music that is equally rewarding on the couch, in the park or on the dancefloor.
