Biography & Metadata

Practicing the craft tirelessly, putting in the requisite 10,000-plus hours, and pushing forward through any and all obstacles, Joey Cool has prepared himself to meet his moment head-on. In less than a decade, the Kansas City, MO rapper, singer, and performer has already delivered eight full-length solo albums, well over 100 songs, performed to packed crowds on multiple continents, and appeared on dozens of collaborations. Of course, he also notably left his imprint on Tech N9ne’s “Face Off”—which placed him shoulder-to-shoulder on a beat with King Iso and the one and only Dwayne Johnson. The track gathered half-a-billion streams, and his name found its way into Variety, USA Today, People, and more. Moreover, he’s collaborated with everyone from Doobie to C-Mob and Lex Bratcher. Most recently, 2024’s Roller Coaster incited the applause of Hip Hop Over Everything, Music Existence, and Underground Hip Hop Blog who hailed it as “full of all the twists and turns, ups and downs you can expect from an elite MC on his level of skill.” However, he takes advantage of the opportunity in front of him with his 2026 album, Time Will Tell [Strange Music]. It’s the confluence of his longtime hustle, uncompromising heat, and undeniable heart. You can hear it loud and clear on the likes of “Set It Off” [feat. Tech N9ne, Rittz, King Iso, X-Raided, & Matt Phoenix] and more.
