Ralph Jacobs

From his early days behind a drum kit to the digital frontiers of the 90s demoscene, Ralph Jacobs has always been driven by rhythm. Forging his path in 1996 under the alias 'Jay' with the group Explizit, he cut his teeth in an era where code and sound were inseparable, sculpting raw rave, acid, and hardtrance on early trackers. That instinct for live energy was further sharpened through his work with projects like 303F and KAMARA, both staples of the intense live techno circuit. Nowadays, Ralph channels that underground precision into a warmer, more sophisticated palette. Celebrating the sounds of chillwave, disco, house, techno and deep house blending in with the demoscene jay sound, all powered by drum computers and vintage synthesizers. His focus remains singular creating authentic, forward-thinking electronic music. No compromises.
