Holly North

Rising live-act Holly North is quickly making a mark on the electronic scene with a unique and genre-bending sound that has already gotten the attention of the imprints of Christian Löffler, Ben Böhmer & Oliver Koletzki. A Baltic Coast & Eastern German native from a musical family, he began his journey with the cello at age seven, later adding piano and electric bass and performing with bands and ensembles. After a period in New York, Holly delved into the electronic music scene, gaining recognition with releases like his 2021 widely supported single “Youth". Holly’s inter-genre pursuits include documentary and short film productions as well as scoring. As a live performer, Holly is something apart from a standard live-act. He brings his cello and bass to the stage alongside his electronics, turning each show into a mesmerizing live experience. While he is currently developing a new live show with a drummer, he has toured extensively across Europe alongside Christian Löffler, played the legendary Tanzwüste stage at Fusion Festival and actively decided to play Vyrii Festival in Kyiv even after the Russian invasion. His motto "Always different and always new!" is less a slogan than a genuine creative commitment, evident across a body of work that spans electronic, band as well as indie pop arrangements.
