BOXY operates at the intersection of neo-soul, hip hop, and contemporary pop, with a sensual and timeless voice rooted in nuance and sentiment. Boxy wrote her first song at eight. After stepping away, she returned with intention, focusing on songwriting, vocal production, visual direction, and brand identity. She co-founded SSQ (South-Side Quarry) with her brother Auguste Boxy, a platform where affiliated artists release and curate their work. In 2024, BOXY was featured on Sway’s Universe as a Soundwave Pick of the Week with her debut single “Wageyo", alongside Wiz Khalifa and Armani White, gaining international radio traction. Boxy has collaborated with Twi$$ (SSQ artist), BigKlit, Yung Tori, and worked with producers Drumkid (Global), Chuki Beats (Belgium), Anno Domini (USA), Lima (NL), and Eeryskies (USA). Her primary engineers include multi-platinum and multi-Grammy-winning engineer Vinny DeLeon and multi-platinum engineer Willem. Boxy performed at Toile Blanche Sessions (FR) opening for Mumiy Troll (RUS), Green Boley (SVG), Block Party XL, and Gentse Feesten (BE).
