Scripture MixTape

We are Scripture MixTape—a vibrant fusion of faith and music offering a refreshing way to engage with the Bible. We envelop listeners in narrated Scriptures, hymns, Praise & Worship, Scripture songs, and laid-back instrumental beats, all woven into an engaging blend of urban music and hip-hop styles designed to elevate and edify. Like iconic mixtapes that flow through city streets, Scripture MixTape offers a relatable pathway to connect with God’s word. Scripture MixTape is the brainchild of a visionary who has influenced the intersection of faith and hip-hop for over three decades. As a pioneer of Christian Hip Hop in the late '80s and '90s, this journey began behind the turntables, progressed into production, and later transitioned to the microphone as a morning show host for a Gospel radio station. The first streaming version of Scripture MixTape appeared in 2007, featuring narrated Bible Scriptures set to hip-hop beats, marking nearly 20 years of digital innovation. Today, Scripture MixTape integrates original songwriting, Scripture narration, DJing, Praise & Worship, and music technology to create Christian devotional resources. We believe music enhances memory, shapes emotions, and complements the rise of audio-visual learning. Scripture MixTape aligns with contemporary culture's affinity for audio-based learning, aiming to be a catalyst for spiritual growth and providing a unique devotional platform resonating with Christian believers globally.
