Nick Loyer

The first time Nick picked up a guitar, it was to write a song. From that moment on, songwriting became the center of his creative world, shaping the artist he would grow into. In 2016, he co-founded Leverage for Mountains, co-produced two EPs (The Essence Project and Love out of the Dark), and performed at festivals across Canada, including Ottawa Bluesfest, the Mariposa Folk Festival, and the Lunenburg Folk Festival. In 2024, Nick began working on his first solo album, Line in the Sand, set for release in November 2025, releasing five singles along the way — including South, featured on Spotify’s editorial playlist Folk & Friends. Today, he’s eager to share the result of all these years of creation, expressed through a new musical lens.
