TAPIWA is an Afro-electronic music producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Harare, Zimbabwe. Fusing nostalgic 90s rave energy with vibrant, contemporary African electronic rhythms, TAPIWA delivers a genre-defying sound that's bold, euphoric, and made for the dancefloor. Blending elements of Afro-pop, AEDM, house music, and amapiano, his sonic identity is deeply rooted in cultural expression and global experimentation. With his music capturing the attention of industry titans such as Martin Garrix, Nitefreak , Bob Sinclar, and Kygo, TAPIWA is quickly becoming a key figure in the new wave of Afro-electronic fusion. Beyond his solo work, TAPIWA is also 1/2 of Sebenza SoundSystem, a collaborative project pushing the boundaries of African-inspired club music through high-energy DJ sets and immersive performances.
