Zashimi

Zashimi is the project of Alejandro Steinman, specializing in subgenres such as Melodic Techno, Indie Dance, and Techno. Originally from Mexico City, born on August 13, 1994, he is the new artistic identity of someone who used to be a lawyer. Representing his transition from a legal career to his true self as a DJ and music producer, it is the manifestation of a long-repressed dream, a symbol of freedom, and a cry of affirmation in a world that often dictates the safest path rather than the most passionate. Facing challenges inherent to career change, a pandemic, and the ambition to build a reputation from scratch in a highly competitive industry like electronic music.
