Originally started as a home recording project for John Russell, Gnawing has turned into a full fledged band with the addition of Chris Matz and Christian Monroe, hailing from Richmond, Virginia. Taking bits and pieces from a broad range of influences from 60’s cosmic country to 90’s alternative rock and more, Gnawing mixes sentimental lyrics with loud fuzzy riffs.
