Van Múrten

Van Múrten (real name Alexéy Murmulév) is a music producer, DJ, and Ableton trainer. With over a decade of experience, he developed a signature melodic breaks sound built on saturated analog bass, bright synth melodies, and classic breakbeat groove. Alexéy began in bass music and first entered the spotlight in 2019 with 'Rumors', featured in the official Ultra Miami Aftermovie, a breakthrough moment that marked the start of his international recognition. In 2022 he introduced a new direction with his debut EP 'Set You Free / By My Side' on Colorize, followed by 'This Is Love / Above The Skyline' in 2023, which helped define his sound as one of the most promising names in the melodic breaks space. Follow-up releases like 'Breathing (Van Múrten Remix)' on Enhanced Progressive, 'Long Way Home' on Argento, and 'Beyond The Horizon' on Ame Records continued to build his name in the melodic breaks space. In August 2026 came his biggest release to date: 'Doppelgänger' on A State Of Trance, one of the most iconic labels in electronic music, founded by Armin van Buuren himself. His music has received support from Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Tritonal, Aly & Fila, Kream and many more.
