Mastic Scum

New 7th album "VOID" out 30.10.2026! MASTIC SCUM stands as one of Austria’s most uncompromising forces in extreme metal. Now the band returns with a crushing new statement — their most destructive and uncompromising release to date. With VOID, they enter a new era: a sharpened and evolved record, forged with intensity and precision while preserving the raw aggression at its core. VOID is a sonic journey into the abyss, exploring themes of destruction, annihilation, and existential collapse. Through brutal riffs, dissonant melodies, crushing drums, and guttural vocals, the album channels the overwhelming chaos of a world consumed by nothingness. Each track mirrors the psychological and physical unraveling of existence, pulling the listener deeper into a world of chaos, nihilism and the unknown where only the void remains. QUOTES: „MASTIC SCUM is raging in the international metal scene since the late 90`s and works on brute and technical high-quality-death-anthems, which could never sound more crushing!“ [Metaldays Festival] „An album that did no harm at all in cementing the bands reputation as one of, if not, the, hardest hitting exponents of Metal that their homeland has produced.“ [Planet Mosh] „MASTIC SCUM are one of those bands who have figured out how to mechanize brutality. This is the sort of sound many industrial metal bands wish they could generate.“ [No Clean Singing]
