JANKA

Born into a Russian musician family and raised amidst the club culture of Germany, JANKA grew up between classical music and the Berlin techno scene. As a multi-instrumentalist, she played the violin, piano, saxophone, and sang in classical choirs. She started DJing in Naples, Italy, within the underground house scene. Today, she lives on Tenerife, where the volcanic island inspires her to combine her musical background with the surrounding natural beauty, creating melodic, ethnic, and organic house music. Her music is emotional and honest. In her live shows, JANKA's voice and violin accompany her hybrid DJ set, creating a rollercoaster experience of explosive ecstatic dance performances.
