CheckTeam

There's a new wave of artists coming out with their own style. South Seattle’s CheckTeam takes influence from hip-hop’s great collectives and delivers a distinctly West Coast take on a rap game that they rightfully see as theirs for the taking. The CheckTeam was founded in 2013 by Keylo, Louii V and AP originally as just a group of friends before deciding to take music seriously in 2017. Musically they are influenced/in the vein of Mac Dre and Chief Keef. The group has released a handful of singles on Soundcloud accumulating over a millon plays and have released 6 music videos in the past year with views nearly 300,000. The Checkteam have lined themselves up to be the next big thing out of Seattle.
