Biography & Metadata
KATZROAR is a witch and a muse of psychedelic rock. With ethereal vocals, poetic lyrics and instrumental landscapes, she casts spells for body, soul and spirit. Since 2021, KATZROAR has amassed over 28 million streams, and opened for and toured with artists such as Christian Kuria, BALTHVS, Salin and Kerala Dust on the east and west coast. Her sound has echoes of Hermanos Gutiérrez, Khruangbin, Σtella, Stevie Nicks and Portishead, blending nostalgia with modern alternative, indie trends. Groovy bass, dreamy guitar, and emotive vocals are the foundations of the music. Despite a two year hiatus from 2022 - 2024, KATZROAR has since released an EP, her second album, and over a dozen collabs with 10 different artists including Gitkin, Assaf Spector, Richard Houghten, and more. KATZROAR is a cult. A culture of transformation. Where psychedelic means a journey within and never an escape. The project is currently based in Los Angeles.
