Niklas Blumenthaler

Niklas, a multifaceted pianist and composer, has carved a niche for himself with melancholic, minimalistic melodies and deeply emotional compositions. Renowned for his piano works, he has released music under esteemed labels such as Aemeralds, Andante, Loudkult, and 1631recordings. Since his debut single “Wide Awake” in 2020, Niklas has composed over 50 pieces, amassing more than 100 million streams and counting. His debut album, “The Valley”, released in September 2024 under Aemeralds, is a reflection of his personal journey. The album, which refers both to his last name and his emotional ups and downs, explores his search for inner stillness, his love of nature, and his ever-present sense of world-weariness—portrayed as a journey through a metaphorical valley. “The Valley“ cover artwork by Falk Kastell.
