The Chilled Dad

Life in a box, the walls, parameters we live within, chosen and imposed, slowly unconsciously as time slips by.  Inside a windowless cramped, gray room, albums, cds, turntables, guitars, music gear and a computer, scattered unseen paintings, unread manuscripts and unheard melodies.  The artist grasps to control the time, remove walls, shift paradigm, during the late night and early morning, around the requisites of what’s in the box, family, work, society, each nausea inducing, driven by passion to color outside the lines, outside the box, pure artistic pursuit, no expectation of accolade, acceptance or infamy, and resolutely without the complication of money, solely the love of creation.  The 21st century artist.
